Penja Pepper is one of the rarest. The tiny production of 18 tons from the 100 ha plantation undergoes no chemical treatment. The amazing quality of the volcanic soil associated with an equatorial climate providing a perfect balance between rainfalls and sun. Once sun dried, the grains are graded with the aid of a sieve and only the biggest are selected.

Soft and refined, it has a very delicate perfume that goes well together with flavoursome warmth. It starts by elegantly delighting the nostrils and brings out a warm, round, insisting feeling. Black Penja Pepper complements the musk savours of pork and gives flavour to beef preparations.
